This small glacier, Vadret dal Corvatsch, is not part of the Morteratsch glacier system but lies nearby towards the southwest. Considerable retreat and lowering of the ice surface has lead to the formation of an ice-dammed lake. Summer skiing is no longer possible here (photos Joachim Wolff).
