Unusual eruptions

On 10 October, at about 8 pm, "Iddu" has shown another paroxysmal phase. Ash and scoria fell over Pizzo and in the Fossetta. Danielle Cottens was on the Pizzo around 6.30 pm, while the volcano was showing intense activity, with bombs often reaching the base of the Pizzo. Around 7.30 pm, Danielle did not feel safe on the Pizzo, and decided to go back to the village. After half an hour, at about 8 pm, the explosion took place. Other tourist groups, who were still climbing the volcano, decided to go back. At the moment, it seems that once again the few number of tourists on the Pizzo at the moment of the explosion has determined the lack of injured people.
