Unusual eruptions

An unusually big explosion was photographed at 9h00 a.m. from Stromboli village by Stromboli guide Nino Zerilli,. Red arrows mark small white dust clouds and smoke caused by bombs falling onto the slope of the volcano, some of them perhaps causing small fires in the dry vegetation.
