Morteratsch repeat photos

On Persgletscher there used to be a small icefall northeast of Isla Persa. This location is along the route taken by guided tours which descend from Diavolezza via Isla Persa towards Morteratsch. In 2006 a window opened in the ice and has been increasing in size since then. The perspective of the peaks in the background (Piz Palü on the left, Piz Bernina far right) changes between the images. This happens because the old location is no longer precisely acessible (without a tower...) as the glacier surface lowered since the first image was taken (photos J. Alean).
