Evidence for glaciation just a few million years ago in Antarctica is preserved in these laminated deposits of the Sirius Group, Bennett Platform, Shackleton Glacier, Transantarctic Mountains. The laminated sediments contain large stones (dropstones) rafted by icebergs into a lake. MH
