(going to the top? - it's dangerous!) - how often did we hear this warning when we left, carrying tent and food through Piscità. The locals know well that their island is very special. They are accustomed to foreigners who want to film them when they go out fishing, work in the fields or even in the school. |

Several nights are spent near the craters to catch the fascinating spectacle on film. The gases are troublesome to the men and their cameras. The near-continuous noise from the craters makes for an intimidating setting. However, in the end the effort was more than worth it...
