Glacier des Bossons and Glacier de Taconnaz

Aerial photo of Glacier de Bossons from the north, Glacier de Taconnaz on the right. Both have remarkably bright tongues due to advection of cold, bubble-rich ice from the extremely high altitude accumulatin areas (11. Aug. 1982, JA).
