Changes of the Lava Lake between January and July, 2006In May 2006, an overflow created a new terrace at the bottom of the crater. After, the lava lake subsided in a new deep pit stabilizing
a few meters lower than its previous level. This page shows detailed compariosons which allow to evaluate its evolution in at least six
