Once we have climbed higher than the small but prominent peak, right of center, which is 1827 m high (5994 ft), we are sure to have gained more than half the altitude towards the summit. Time for a rest, a second late breakfast and to enjoy the view downwards over some «lateral morains» left behind by big block lava flows. Some other climbers are following but are unable to keep up with our pace ;-) | » |  |
