Previous«And finally - we have made it! Quite suddenly we are at the Ketetahi Roadend at 800m.a.sl., some nine hours after setting off. Like many other hikers (typically 500 a day...) we are very, very tired - but ever so happy to have crossed what must be one of the most beautiful and spectacular volcanic landscapes on this Planet! (All photos from January 2005).
