What's it about?
In immersion lessons, the students should have as many opportunities as possible to present, to explain and to discuss in the foreign language. The puzzle method is ideal for this purpose. For the actual group work, students should be familiar with how a galvanic cell functions in principle; it is also advantageous to discuss one or two battery types (e.g. alkali and lead acid batteries) in advance. The groups will then learn about four other batteries. This will clearly demonstrate how a basic principle can be technically implemented in different ways and what is important in this implementation.
