Heavily crevassed Freshfield Glacier has a smaller accumulation area than flanking Hochstetter and Haast Glaciers, and does not today reach Tasman Glacier, although the moraines flanking the outlet stream (mid-left) indicate that in earlier times it did so (April 2008).
