Climate Change: the Swiss perspective
Verfasst von Prof. Dr. Martin Grosjean
Worum geht es?
Switzerland and the Alps respond very sensitively to global climate
change: the observed temperature increase over the 20th century has been
twice as fast as the global average.
The main forcing factors that have changed the energy balance at the
Earth’s surface are briefly reviewed; regional scenarios and
observed/expected impacts for Central Europe are discussed. Emphasis is
put on the water cycle and the cryosphere.
