Living in the Caldera

Although only 150km from Jakarta and its 15 million inhabitants, and 50km from the heavy industry at Anyer, Krakatau Caldera is still what many would consider a real tropical paradise. The volcano's blasts and monitor lizards two meters long ("Rakata's Dragons") near our tents made us feel like in "Jurassic Park".
